Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Welcomes Air France Service to Paris

Air France has announced new international service between Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport and its main hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport. Air France will operate up to five weekly flights beginning March 31, 2019, utilizing Airbus A330 aircraft on the route.

“We’re pleased to welcome Air France back to DFW Airport and bring more international flight service to the Dallas Fort Worth region,” said Sean Donohue, chief executive officer at DFW Airport. “The new flights from Air France offer customers another convenient way to get to Europe for business connections or tourism.”

Air France is the national flag carrier of France and will become the 16th international carrier serving DFW Airport. It is a subsidiary of the Air France–KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam airline alliance.

France is the 13th largest overall trading partner for the Dallas Fort Worth area, and our recent mission trip to France was intended to spark even more corporate activity between our regions,” said Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings. “With over 120 French-owned companies operating offices or other facilities in Dallas and Fort Worth, these new flights will strengthen our business ties with France and western Europe and expand our capacity to travel between DFW and Paris.”

“We are excited to welcome Air France and its customers to Dallas Fort Worth as we continue to grow our region’s global footprint,” said Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price. “Our regions share not only great business connections but also a great love of the arts, cuisine and culture. We are thankful to Air France for the new service as we continue growing our portfolio of international flights at DFW Airport.”

Mayor Rawlings and Mayor Price led a trade mission to France in June with DFW Airport and other organizations. Meetings were held with Air France executives and other European companies.
